WCCW Draft Picks 1, 2 & 3
Commissioner Patrick announces the WCCW’s first three draft picks with the following statement:
“It would be unwise for the newly christened WCCW to ignore the drawing power of ourcurrent champions. That’s why for our first 3 picks the WCCW chooses, current WCCW Champion King Harley Race and the current WCCW Tag Team Champions THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (Sweet Stan Lane & Beautiful Bobby Eaton). We understand these choices force us to give up our next draft pick, but we feel this is the prudent choice to make.”

Statement from Commissioner Patrick of the WCCW:
“In the past year there has been a wrestler who’s shown amazing improvement in his skills in the ring. Because he’s Come close several times to capturing the gold, the championship committee feels he’s a prime pick. The WCCW would like to draft “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig.”
Also of note: THE ROAD WARRIORS & Ted DiBiase have left the WCCW for other Federations. We wish them well in their future endeavors.
WCCW Draft Picks 5 & 6
Statement from Commissioner Patrick of the WCCW:
“In a decision that will no doubt, ruffle some feathers in our current roster, West Coast Championship Wrestling has decided to bring in two new talents for our next two pics. In order to remain competitive in the LWA’s tag team division, WCCW would like to welcome THE JAMES GANG (BG & Kip James) to the roster.”
In related news: The WCCW Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and The Magnificent Don Muraco have come to terms regarding their contracts as they have both been drafted to other federations in the LWA. We wish them the best of luck.

“Using our last two Draft Picks to choose two newcomers while letting other talent be sent to other feds has made the current stars very upset. To make up for our next two we have agreed to chose two current WCCW stars for our next two picks. The WCCW would like to extend the contracts of The Iron Sheik and Cowboy Bob Orton.”
