034 – DESTRUCTION

Live from Cow Palace, San Francisco, CA!

(The evening opened simply with Commissioner Patrick sitting at his desk. He smiles at the camera.)

PATRICK: Good evening wrestling fans. Welcome to DESTRUCTION. I don’t want to take up too much of your time this evening. Almost two years ago the GOLDEN STATE WRESTLING began with the goal of bringing the people wrestling. Tonight we hope to show the world that we are the best at doing that. We hope fans across the globe enjoy DESTRUCTION!

(We cut to the ring for our opening match.)

Magnificent Muraco d. Koko B. Ware via pinfall after the HAWAIIAN HAMMER.

Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka d. “Cowboy” Bob Orton via pinfall after the SUPERFLY LEAP – This was an amazing match and these two men showed they both have what it takes to get to the upper ranks of the LWF.

NO DQ/NO COUNTOUT MATCH
Nikolai Volkoff & The Iron Sheik d. KILLER BEES via submission when Iron Sheik tapped B. Brian Blair in the CAMEL CLUTCH – This match was all Iron Sheik. He went after B. Brian Blair like a man possessed, throwing him in and out of the right like a rag doll, finally making him submit in the ring. After the match he continued to berate and spit on the fallen Blair. No one’s quite sure about this intense hatred the Sheik seems to have towards Blair.

AVALANCHE VS. FLYING SPEAR MATCH
King Kong Bundy d. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan via pinfall after the AVALANCHE.

FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH
Mr. Perfect d. “Ravishing” Rick Rude via pinfall with The Axe – Though the action for this match went in and out of the ring, it was finished in the ring with Perfect hitting The Axe to put Rude away!

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
HARDCORE TEXAS DEATH MATCH
MIDNIGHT EXPRESS d. ROAD WARRIORS via pinfall when Lane and Eaton hit Road Warrior Animal with the DOUBLE GOOZLE – This match was so odd as it was over quickly. THE ROAD WARRIORS were so off tonight. Ellering was FURIOUS with Hawk and Animal after the match.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
STEEL CAGE MATCH
King Harley Race d. Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase via escape after a piledriver – Ted DiBiase was SO CLOSE to winning this match SO MANY times, but in the end, the King would reign supreme! This is, without a doubt the match of the year. What a way for the King to display his dominance.
