The show opens with Mr. Perfect and Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka in the ring. The ring is surrounded by wrestlers.
On Mr. Perfect’s side: King Harley Race, King Kong Bundy, Tully Blanchard “Ravishing” Rick Rude & Bobby “The Brian” Heenan.
On Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka’s side: Hillbilly Jim, Cousin Luke, Koko B. Ware, Terry Gordy & One Man Gang.
Perfect and Snuka are tied 1 to 1 in their BEST OF SEVEN SERIES! The loser of the series will be banned from Golden State Wrestling forever.

LUMBERJACK MATCH
Mr. Perfect d. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka via pinfall after Bundy smashed Snuka with a chair while the ref’s back was turned – *** – Perfect bailed out of the ring to avoid Snuka but made the mistake of doing so on the side Snuka’s lumberjacks were on. As they roughed Mr. Perfect up a bit, Bundy creeped into the ring and bashed Snuka with a chair behind the ref’s back. Snuka’s lumberjacks tossed Perfect back into the ring and he found Snuka laid out. Perfect went for the pin and that was it!
All the lumberjacks began to brawl as we crashed to commercial.

- Davey Boy Smith d. Bobby Eaton via DQ when Eaton smashed Smith with a chair outside the ring.
- Stan Lane d. Dynamite Kid via pinfall after GRAVEDIGGER.
- Bobby Eaton d. Dynamite Kid via pinfall after grabbing Dynamite Kid’s legs as he tried a sunset flip.
A rare misstep for THE BRITISH BULLDOGS who were outclassed tonight.
CORNETTE: Now that we’ve taken care of the Bulldogs, we’re laying down the challenge right here, right now! POWERS OF PAIN! We haven’t forgotten how you railroaded us at the CALIFORNIA CUP and we’re coming for revenge! Revenge and those titles!
As the cage was set up for our next match, a video package was shown on the feud between Andre the Giant and WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION The Iron Sheik. It all culminates tonight in a 15 foot high steel cage!

STEEL CAGE MATCH
Andre the Giant d. The Iron Sheik via escape after incapacitating the Sheik with a BIG SPLASH – *** – Andre has done it! The crowd went nuts! Andre the Giant is the new WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! Freddy Blassie tended to the broken Iron Sheik in the middle of the ring as Andre is presented with the title!
The Iron Sheik’s historic 34 card reign, the longest in GSW History, is over.
Andre celebrated as we crashed to break.

Backstage we joined the celebration of new HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION Andre the Giant! He’s surrounded by fiends, Hillbilly Jim, Cousin Luke, Koko B. Ware, THE KILLER BEES, etc who all congratulate him. Gordon Solie tried to get a word with the champ but the celebration was too raucous.

Fabulous Moolah d. Sensational Sherri via pinfall after the JACKKNIFE CRADLE – **** – Moolah wins in dominant fashion in a great match!
Backstage Andre was with Gordon Solie who asked him for thoughts on his historic win.
ANDRE THE GIANT: I will not take anything away from the Iron Sheik. Anyone who watched that match tonight saw that The Iron Sheik was very close to winning at one point. But I was able to prevail! Winning this title means–
Suddenly, Randy “Macho Man” Savage entered frame and walked up to Andre.
SAVAGE: Congratulations big man, yeah. You’ve got the belt and now you’ve piqued the Macho Man’s interest, yeah. If you plan on being a fighting champion, sign the Macho Man up for that fight.
Andre got in Savage’s face.
SOLIE: Gentlemen, let’s keep this orderly.
There was an intense stare down and then Andre smiled and nodded. Savage smiled and left as Andre watched after him and we cut back to the ring for our final match.

Tully Blanchard d. Hillbilly Jim via pinfall after a perfect cross body block – **** – Hillbilly Jim brought the fight to the man who’s injured him twice but Blanchard was able to take the big man down.
Heenan and Blanchard celebrate as the credits roll.
