A hot opener that got the crowd on their feet with wild brawling antics. Jimmy Hart’s new team gets a loss but they didn’t seem to care.
- Dennis Condrey used the atomic drop to beat Ric McCord in their Grudge Match. ★★★★
Not so sure anything was settled during this encounter between these two, but Dennis Condrey got the upper hand here.
- Austin Idol beat Jackie Fargo in two straight falls in a wild 2 out of 3 Falls Match. ★★★★★

This was a marathon of a match. The fans went bananas as Idol outsmarted Fargo two falls to none! This victory has, no doubt, put Idol on line for a title shot.
- Sputnik Monroe surprised Handsome Jimmy Valiant with a NECKBREAKER to win their Loser Leaves Town Match and send Jimmy Valiant out of the territory for a year! Valiant dominated the match but couldn’t put Monroe away. Monroe hit his finisher out of nowhere for the win. ★★★★★
Fans were not happy that the ever popular Valiant is now gone!
- In the Main Event, Tommy Rich used the THESZ PRESS to retain the Southern Heavyweight Championship on an incredibly competitive match with Ricky Morton. ★★★★
